Vacancy: Workshop Manager
Reporting to: Directors
Based: Sittingbourne, Kent
This is a fantastic opportunity to join and lead a busy manufacturing workshop in North Kent, producing custom build exhibition stands for a range of blue chip clients and installed throughout the UK and Europe.
The team you lead will include joiners, exhibition carpenters, decorators, machinist and labourers and we operate a range of plant including our own CNC machine, spray booth and a number of vehicles.
Your job will be to manage our workshop staff, plant, and facility efficiently whilst planning workflow and suitable resources, advising on methods of manufacture, ordering necessary materials, liaising with our projects team, our setting out department, and ensuring all projects are built on time, to the correct specification and maintaining thorough quality control of everything that we build and ship at all times.
Health and Safety is also of paramount importance and you will ensure staff work at all times in a safe way that is consistent with company policies.
