We've helped deliver stands Sporting Solutions at ICE and previously EIG since 2013.
In 2022 & 2023 they opted for a double decker, which involves additional complex health & safety submissions, including full structural calculations.
Compliance
Considerations like fire rated building materials or floral, emergency lighting, frosted glass and of course sound construction are all part and parcel of the services we offer, giving you peace of mind that your stand design will be fully compliant with all show, venue and eGuide regulations. Our priority is ensuring your stand submission will be signed off by the organiser, and assisting you with any additional documentation required to meet the requirements of your internal approval processes.
Structure
A double decker stand consists of an upper floor and stairwells supported by bespoke metalwork. Other considerations included ordering in custom sized, reinforced frosted glass for the meeting rooms on the upper floor.
For this stand, there was a great deal of organisational competency involved, really challenging our project managers to stay ahead of the curve, and a large team of carpenters, labourers and decorators was required to assemble each element of the stand and build it from the ground up, from the base platform to the complex overhead rigging.
Team Work
With a project as large as this, there's no way we could have delivered it without our fantastic onsite team and project leaders taking charge of specific areas, seamlessly coordinating with the venue and external teams to arrange deliveries and organise onsite services installations.
